Baltkrievijas biatloniste Darja Domračeva svētdien Rūpoldingā 10 kilometru iedzīšanas distancē izcīnīja karjerā pirmo pasaules čempiones titulu, informē organizatori.

Domračeva sacensības sāka no otrās pozīcijas, jo sestdien sprintā tika pie sudraba godalgas, zaudējot tikai mājiniecei Vācijas biatlonistei Magdalēnai Noinerei, taču šoreiz titulēto sāncensi baltkrievietei izdevās apsteigt. Domračevai līdz šim pasaules čempionātos bija izdevies izcīnīt trīs sudraba un vienu bronzas medaļu.

Uzvarētāja mēroja divus soda apļus un finišēja pēc 29 minūtēm un 39,6 sekundēm, bet Noinere, kura šaušanā pieļāva trīs kļūdas, un divas no tām pēdējā ceturtajā šaušanā, palika otrajā vietā, Domračevai zaudējot 25,1 sekundi. Bronzas godalgu izcīnīja Olga Viluhina no Krievijas, kura uzvarētājai zaudēja minūti un 15,4 sekundes. Labāko sešiniekā tika arī Tūra Bergera no Norvēģijas, Helēna Ekholma no Zviedrijas un Marija Laura Brunē no Francijas.

Latvijas biatlonistes iedzīšanā nepiedalījās, jo sestdien sprintā netika starp 60 labākajām.

12,5 kilometru iedzīšanā vīriešiem svētdien otro zelta medaļu Rūpoldingā izcīnīja Martēns Furkads no Francijas.

Pasaules čempionāts turpināsies otrdien, kad vīrieši sacentīsies 20 kilometru individuālajā distancē.
