Białoruś: Statkiewicz 'złośliwie narusza regulamin' - Polskie Radio

Mykoła Statkiewicz, białoruski kandydat na prezydenta, skazany na 6 lat kolonii karnej o zaostrzonym rygorze, będzie miał kolejny proces. Na trzy lata może trafić do więzienia o surowym rygorze.

Administracja kolonii nr 17 w Szkłowie uważa, że Statkiewicz „złośliwie wykracza” poza zasady obowiązujące w więzieniu, nie poprawia się -tak napisał płk S. Jermalicki, szef kolonii, w opisie skazanego. W związku z tym naczelnik chce Statkiewicza na trzy lata przenieść do surowszego więzienia. Proces więźnia odbędzie się 12 stycznia.

Statkiewicz pracował w kolonii w tartaku, gdzie uległ urazowi ręki i żebra. Pod koniec roku miesiąc spełnił w karnej celi za rzekome przewinienia. Jak zauważa Karta 97 kara zbiegła się z ukazaniem się w mediach listu Statkiewicza, który przemycono z kolonii karnej.

- Więzienie nie zmusi mnie, żebym zmienił swoją postawę. Nie przyznaję się do winy, jestem dumny z tego, co zrobiłem. Dziękuję tym ludziom, którzy pomogli Białorusinom poczuć szacunek do swojego narodu – napisał Statkiewicz.

Mykoła Statkiewicz był jednym z opozycyjnych kandydatów na prezydenta w wyborach w 2010 roku na Białorusi.
