Dyplomatyczny paszport dla przyjaciela Łukaszenki? - Polskie Radio

Były wicekanclerz Austrii Hubert Gorbach, który pojechał na Białoruś w 2010 roku i wystawiał wyborom pozytywne świadectwo, ma paszport dyplomatyczny, choć dla rządu dawno nie pracuje.

Austriacki portal kurier.at porusza sprawę dyplomatycznych paszportów, które w Austrii pozostawiane są wyższym urzędnikom, nawet gdy już od dawna nie pozostają w służbie państwowej. Dokumenty są przedłużane co pięć lat, a zachowują je nawet ci byli urzędnicy, którzy kojarzą się ze skandalami i kompromitacją bardziej niż z zasługami dla kraju – wynika z ustaleń austriackiego portalu.

Uwagę białoruskich mediów niezależnych przykuło nazwisko Huberta Gorbacha – byłego ministra transportu i wicekanclerza Austrii (od 2003 roku), który w 2005 roku tworzył razem z Jorgiem Heiderem partię Sojusz na rzecz przyszłości Austrii. Obecnie jest szefem firmy „Gorbach” i konsultantem „Wintertechnik Engeneering”. Jak zauważa portal radia Swaboda, obie firmy prowadzą w Rosji i na Białorusi szereg projektów, w tym związanych z sportem zimowym i infrastrukturą zimowych kurortów.

Gorbach potwierdził „Kurierowi.at”, że ma dyplomatyczny paszport, i że to powszechna praktyka, gdyż takie dokumenty jako bonus otrzymują urzędnicy na całym świecie.

Jednak były austriacki wicekanclerz austriackiej opinii publicznej kojarzy się raczej z aferami, od jazdy w stanie nietrzeźwym po korupcję i przyjaźń z autorytarnymi reżimami.

Portal Radia Swaboda przypomina, że Gorbach był na Białorusi podczas wyborów prezydenckich 2010 roku, których wyników nie uznał demokratyczny świat i które zakończyły się masowymi represjami. Gorbach powiedział wtedy państwowym mediom białoruskim i mediom austriackim, że tam, gdzie on był obecny „Łukaszenka otrzymał około 70 procent głosów, co zapewne odpowiada ogólnym wynikom”, przypomina portal. Co do demonstracji rozpędzonej w wieczór powyborczy - wydarzenia Gorbach skomentował następująco, „że każdy ma prawo się bronić”. Kilka miesięcy potem przyparty do muru przez innych dziennikarzy, tłumaczył, że siedział przez cały czas w hotelu, niczego nie wiedział o tych wydarzeniach i potępia przemoc we wszystkich przejawach.

Rzecznik austriackiego MSZ Peter Launsky-Tieffenthal przyznał, że ten i inne przypadki poruszane przez Kurier powinny skłonić resort do przemyślenia tej sprawy. Jak dodał, do tej pory MSZ postępował zgodnie z prawem, które pozwala mu na wydawanie i przedłużanie takich paszportów byłym ministrom.
