MINSK, 25 April (BelTA) – An international conference “The role of business and business associations in fulfilling the country’s socioeconomic targets” will be held on 26 April 2012 during a congress of the Professor Kunyavsky Business Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers, BelTA learnt from the press service of the public organization.
The participants of the conference will discuss prospects of public-private partnership in Belarus, regional development based on private initiative and local resources, best practices in promoting investments and innovations by business associations. A separate block will deal with challenges facing Belarusian business in the Single Economic Space and adaptation to the WTO requirements.
Taking part in the conference will be government officials, international organizations, embassies, social partners, businessmen from the Single Economic Space and the Customs Union member states, representatives of the Federal Association of the German Industry.
The Professor Kunyavsky Business Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers is among the biggest business associations of Belarus. Its membership includes over 140 companies, centers, and associations.
