MINSK, 20 March (BelTA) – Companies of Nizhny Novgorod are interested in developing sci-tech cooperation with Belarus, BelTA learnt from the press service of the State Science and Technology Committee.
Implementation of joint projects was discussed at the recent meeting of the Belarus-Nizhny Novgorod business cooperation council. The parties talked over themes and timing of seminars-presentations aimed at studying innovative technologies of Belarus and Nizhny Novgorod. “Cooperation in high technologies generates a high interest among Nizhny Novgorod companies,” the press service said.
The State Science and Technology Committee and the Russian Association of Technoparks considered mechanisms of supporting the Belarusian innovative infrastructure, prospects of establishing partner relations between the residents of sci-tech parks of the two countries. The sides signed an agreement on cooperation in innovative infrastructure development.
The Association of Technoparks is engaged in development and implementation of an the Russian innovation development strategies, industrial policies, promotes high technologies, cooperation between technoparks, executive government bodies and other organizations.
