Utrzymujemy politykę warunkowości UE w sprawie Białorusi: więcej za więcej, ale też i mniej za mniej wtedy, gdy są represje - powiedział szef MSZ.

- Jeśli chodzi o Białoruś utrzymujemy politykę warunkowości Unii Europejskiej. Więcej za więcej (...), ale też i mniej za mniej wtedy, gdy są represje, gdy łamane są podstawowe prawa obywatelskie - podkreślił Radosław Sikorski po spotkaniu ministrów spraw zagranicznych państw Trójkąta Weimarskiego w Berlinie.

- Zwiększając sankcje przypominamy, że jesteśmy gotowi jako Unia Europejska do dialogu i pomocy Białorusi, gdy tylko ta przestanie represjonować własnych obywateli - dodał polski minister.

Sikorski podziękował szefom MSZ Francji i Niemiec za to, że podjęli decyzję o odwołaniu na konsultacje ambasadorów z Białorusi. - To pokazuje, że solidarność europejska, szczególnie gdy mamy do czynienia z reżimem niedemokratycznym, nadal dużo znaczy - ocenił.

Szef MSZ powiedział ponadto, że Trójkąt Weimarski jest "nie tylko efektowny, ale także efektywny". Poinformował, że w przyszłym miesiącu spotkają się ministrowie Niemiec Polski i Francji ds. europejskich oraz eksperci ds. wieloletnich ram finansowych UE.
