Largest Law Corporation of South Korea Daeryook & Aju Internatonal Law Firm took interest in investing in the Belarusian economy. The company signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Agency for Investment and Privatization in Belarus during the visit of the Belarusian delegation to Seoul on March 16.
As the Ministry of Economy of Belarus explained to Telegraf, one of the priorities of Daeryook & Aju Internatonal Law Firm is the legal support for overseas expansion of Korean business.
"The company's experts have extensive experience in transactions involving the Korean equity joint ventures, power projects and project financing. In addition to the headquarters in Seoul, Daeryook & Aju Internatonal Law Firm has offices in the European Union, China, Russia and the United States," informed the Ministry of Economy.
Under the agreement, the National Agency for Investment and Privatization in Belarus together with Daeryook & Aju Internatonal Law Firm intend to hold bilateral consultations and exchange of information in order to explore the possibilities of attracting direct foreign investment in Belarus.
According to the Ministry of Economy, under the current visit to Seoul, director of the National Agency for Investment and Privatization Dmitri Klevzhits presented the investment opportunities of Belarus and held talks with Deputy Minister of Intellectual Economy of the Republic of Korea Mun Jae Do, vice-president of the Korean Agency for Trade and Investment Promotion (KOTRA) Sung-Keun Oh and several local businessmen. The sides discussed the investment prospects of Belarus with Korean companies in the areas of transport infrastructure, petrochemicals, machinery, pharmaceuticals and medicine.
