Belarus-Nizhny Novgorod Business Cooperation Council to sit on 14 March

MOSCOW, 6 March (BelTA) – The 10th meeting of the Business Cooperation Council of Belarus and Nizhny Novgorod Oblast of the Russian Federation will take place in Nizhny Novgorod on 14 March. Attending the event will be a Belarusian delegation led by First Vice Premier Vladimir Semashko, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Nizhny Novgorod government.

The meeting participants are expected to take stock of the bilateral cooperation in 2011. “Among the highest achievements is trade between Belarusian and Nizhny Novgorod companies which grew 30% as against 2010,” the press service said.

Alongside with traditional issues of cooperation in industry, trade, agriculture, and culture, the meeting participants will discuss collaboration in high technologies, tourism, sports and youth policies.
