Bělorusko potvrdilo popravu obou atentátníků z minského metra - Český rozhlas

Běloruské úřady potvrdily, že popravily oba muže odsouzené k smrti za výbuch v minském metru. Atentát ve stanici v centru města, při němž zemřelo 15 lidí, spáchali loni v dubnu dva pětadvacetiletí mladíci. Tento týden jim odmítl běloruský prezident Alexandr Lukašenko udělit milost.

O smrti obou odsouzených informovala státní běloruská televize v hlavní zpravodajské relaci.

Informaci už dříve potvrdili příbuzní jednoho z mladíků. O vykonání trestu je dopisem vyrozuměl běloruský Nejvyšší soud.

Zastřelením do týla byli Dmitrij Konovalov a Vladislav Kovaljov popraveni už v pátek. Rodiny zatím nedostaly žádnou informaci o tom, kde a kdy budou pohřbeni.

Ochránci lidských práv kritizují rychlost, s jakou byl verdikt vykonán. Hned několik nezávislých právníků zpochybnilo soudní proces a důkazy usvědčující oba muže z atentátu. Ti se ale během přelíčení ke všemu přiznali.

Popravu obou odsouzených ostře kritizuje také Evropská unie. Německý ministr zahraničních Guido Westerwelle věci vyzval Bělorusko, ať uvalí na trest smrti moratorium.
