'Amnesty International' aicina atdot tuviniekiem ar nāvi sodīto Minskas metro ... - DELFI.lv

Starptautiskā cilvēktiesību aizsardzības organizācija “Amnesty International” nosodījusi nāvessoda izpildi par terorismu notiesātajiem ]]> Baltkrievijas ]]> pilsoņiem Vladislavam Kovaļovam un Dmitrijam Konovalovam. Organizācija arī aicina Minsku nodot sodīto personu mirstīgās atliekas apglabāšanai to tuviniekiem, vēsta aģentūra “RIA Novosti”, atsaucoties uz organizācijas interneta vietnē publicēto paziņojumu.

“Par spīti publiskajiem paziņojumiem par nodomu atcelt nāvessodu, Baltkrievijas varas iestādes turpina piespriest un izpildīt tos. Prezidentam Aleksandram Lukašenko ir nekavējoties jāievieš nāvessodu moratorijs. Baltkrievijas varas iestādēm arī ir jāatdod divu sodīto ķermeņi to ģimenēm,” teikts “Amnesty International” Eiropas un Centrālās Āzijas direktora Džona Dalusina paziņojumā.

Baltkrievijas normatīvie akti paredz, ka pēc nāvessoda izpildes sodīto ķermeņi netiek atdoti to ģimenēm, kā arī netiek atklāta to apglabāšanas vieta, informē “RIA Novosti”.

Jau vēstīts, ka abiem par Minskas metro spridzināšanu notiesātajiem Vladislavam Kovaļovam un Dmitrijam Konovalovam piespriestais nāvessods ir izpildīts pagājušās nedēļas nogalē, abus vīriešus nošaujot.

Sprādziens metro stacijā "Oktjabrjskaja" Minskas centrā notika pērn 11.aprīļa vakarā. Spridzeklis tika detonēts ar tālvadības mehānismu metro stacijā, kad vakara sastrēgumstundas laikā stacijā iebrauca vilciens. Sprādzienā tika nogalināti 15 un ievainoti vairāk nekā 200 cilvēku.

Viens no notiesātajiem ir elektriķis, bet otrs - mehāniķis. Varas iestādes vēl nav minējušas skaidru viņu rīcības motīvu.

Baltkrievijas Augstākā tiesa 30.novembrī piesprieda nāvessodu Konovalovam un Kovaļovam, kurus atzina par vainīgiem par 11.aprīlī notikušā sprādziena Minskas metro sarīkošanu. Tiesnesis Konovalovu atzina par vainīgu terorismā, bet Kovaļovu par varas iestāžu neinformēšanā par plāniem rīkot sprādzienu.

Prāvas sākumā Konovalovs atzina savu vainu, bet vēlāk Kovaļovs paziņoja izmeklētājiem, ka ir dzirdējis, kā draugu pratināšanas laikā sit.

Baltkrievija ir vienīgā valsts Eiropā, kur spēkā vēl ir nāvessods, ko izpilda nošaujot. Cilvēktiesību aktīvisti aicināja Baltkrievijas varasiestādes nāvessodu neizpildīt. Baltkrievijas prezidents Aleksandrs Lukašenko lēma neapžēlot notiesātos.
