- W Brukseli i stolicach państw Unii Europejskiej nie powinno się zapominać, że wobec Białorusi taktyka zastraszania nie skutkuje – oświadcza białoruskie MSZ.

Białoruskie ministerstwo spraw zagranicznych uznało, że wybrany przez UE sposób eskalacji napięcia w stosunkach z Białorusią to ślepa uliczka. Powiedział o tym dziennikarzom rzecznik MSZ Andrej Sawinych - pisze państwowa agencja BiełTA. - Nerwowa reakcja Unii Europejskiej na propozycje Białorusi, by przeprowadzić konsultacje ambasadorów przedstawicielstwa UE oraz Polski w ich stolicach świadczy tylko o jednym - że Bruksela wybrała drogę eskalacji napięcia - oznajmił.

Jak dodał, konstruktywne rezultaty da tylko oparty na wzajemnym szacunku dialog, prowadzony na zasadach akceptowanych przez obie strony. "Mamy nadzieję, że nasi partnerzy to zrozumieją" - powiedział.

Z kolei w rozmowie z Polskim Radiem Andrej Sawinych, szef służby prasowej białoruskiego MSZ powiedział, że Mińsk ma nadzieję, że odesłani na konsultacje ambasadorzy państw Unii Europejskiej, zdołają przekazać w swoich stolicach informację, iż polityka sankcji wobec Białorusi nie ma perspektyw. Dodał, że białoruski MSZ uznał również, że na razie jest jeszcze przedwcześnie mówić o odwołaniu na konsultacje białoruskich ambasadorów z państw Unii Europejskiej.

Powiedział też, że Mińsk nie dawał określonego limitu czasowego, w którym ambasador Polski miałby opuścić Białoruś.

- Takich ograniczeń nie było. To wszystko są domysły dziennikarzy - stwierdził Sawinych. Jedna z białoruskich agencji prasowych poinformowała dziś, że ambasador Polski Leszek Szerepka otrzymał 24 godziny na opuszczenie Białorusi w celu przeprowadzenia w Warszawie konsultacji.
