Leszek Szerepka został wezwany do opuszczenia Białorusi. Poinformował o tym białoruski MSZ.

To reakcja Mińska na wprowadzone przez Unię Europejską kolejne sankcje wobec białoruskiego reżimu. - Ambasadorowi Polski i szefowej przedstawicielstwa Unii Europejskiej na Białorusi polecono wyjazd do swoich stolic w celu konsultacji, aby przekazali swoim władzom twarde stanowisko państwa białoruskiego - poinformował MSZ w Mińsku.

Oboje dyplomaci - Leszek Szerepka i Maira Mora - zostali we wtorek wezwani do siedziby resortu, gdzie przekazano im stanowisko białoruskich władz. Jednocześnie na konsultacje do Mińska zostali wezwani: ambasador Białorusi w Warszawie i stały przedstawiciel Białorusi przy Unii Europejskiej.

- To jest dzwonek alarmowy, to jest rzecz po raz kolejny podkreślająca w jaki sposób Łukaszenka, Białoruś traktuje Unię Europejską - zaznaczył Grzegorz Schetyna, szef sejmowej komisji spraw zagranicznych. - To jest też pokazanie i docenienie roli Polski, bo ambasador Polski razem z ambasadorem UE został z Białorusi na jakiś czas odesłany, ale uważam, że powinna to być dla nas wszystkich wielka lekcja. Musimy się w tych sprawach zachowywać bardzo stanowczo, racjonalnie i systematycznie i konsekwentnie. Nie ma zgody nałamanie praw człowieka na Białorusi i będziemy zawsze o tym mówić.

Poseł Platformy podkreślił, ze sankcje nałożone na Białoruś są sankcjami kierunkowymi i nie dotykają narodu białoruskiego, dotykają tych którzy wspierają reżim. - Uważamy, że to jest najlepsza droga, aby egzekwować racjonalne zachowania ze strony białoruskiej (…) Liczymy na solidarność i głos Unii Europejskiej. Liczymy także na solidarność ambasadorów krajów UE. Oni wszyscy powinni na ten czas Białoruś opuścić, żeby wykazać taką elementarną solidarność.

Unia Europejska nałożyła we wtorek nowe sankcje na Białoruś. Kraje wspólnoty postanowiły między innymi, że ponad 20 przedstawicieli władz reżimu Łukaszenki nie będzie miało wstępu na teren Unii.
