Iki kaklo panirę į šaltą upės vandenį kontrabandininkai tempė cigaretes - 15min

Šalčininkų rajone pasieniečiai sulaikė du vietinius gyventojus, kurie brisdami Merkio upe tempė 4 tūkst. pakelių kontrabandinių cigarečių.

 

Šeštadienį apie 23 val. Valstybės sienos apsaugos tarnybos (VSAT) Vilniaus rinktinės Specialiosios paskirties užkardos pareigūnai netoli Šalčininkų rajono Ažubenio kaimo, apie 200 metrų nuo sienos su Baltarusija, užklupo du Merkiu brendančius asmenis. Jie vandeniu tempė keturis tarpusavyje surištus juodos spalvos ryšulius, kuriuose, kaip paaiškėjo vėliau, buvo 8 dėžės, iš viso 4 tūkst. pakelių, cigarečių „Minsk Capital“ su Baltarusijos banderolėmis.

Abiem vyrams vanduo šioje vietoje siekė iki kaklo. Sulaikomi jie klusniai vykdė visas pasieniečių komandas, nes buvo kiaurai permirkę, labai sušalę ir drebėdami net negalėjo kalbėti.

Tęsdami šio įvykio tyrimą po maždaug 10 minučių VSAT pareigūnai netoliese esančiame Tabariškių kaime sulaikė čia stovėjusiame automobilyje „Volkswagen Passat“ sėdėjusius 27-erių ir 31-erių Šalčininkų rajono gyventojus. Įtariama, kad jie galėjo būti susiję su kontrabandos kroviniu.

VSAT Vilniaus rinktinės pareigūnai dėl kontrabandos pradėjo administracinės bylos teiseną. Už tai gresia baudos nuo 10 iki 20 tūkst. litų. Po apklausos sulaikytieji buvo paleisti.
