Lebedko Not Allowed to Leave Belarus for "Evasion of Obligations to the Court"

March 20, Chairman of the United Civil Party Anatoli Lebedko was informed on the reasons for being refused to leave Belarus. He received a certificate from the Department of Citizenship and Migration of Tsentralny district of Minsk, according to which temporary restrictions on exit from Belarus were imposed in accordance with the letter of the Justice Department dated March 5 and based on the fact that a politician had "evaded the obligations imposed on him by the court."

At the same time, the letter does not specify what commitments were imposed and by what court, reports the Belarusian service of ]]> Radio "Liberty." ]]>

Anatoli Lebedko is going to visit the Ministry of Justice in the coming days and file a statement to the Prosecutor General and the Interior Ministry of Belarus about the violation of his civil rights.

As Telegraf previously reported, March 7, United Civil Party leader Anatoli Lebedko was ]]> not allowed to leave ]]> the territory of the European Union on the Belarusian-Lithuanian border for no reason.

Meanwhile, the Belarusian authorities ]]> may restrict ]]> exit from the country for those, openly calling for the international community to impose sanctions against Belarus. Such a possibility is currently considered by the official Minsk, reported a source, close to the power structures of Belarus. According to him, the preliminary list of restricted to travel abroad includes 108 people.
