Lenkijos Seimo deputatai reikalauja tučtuojau paleisti politinius kalinius Baltarusijoje ir pradėti šalies demokratizavimo procesą. Atitinkamas nutarimas buvo priimtas penktadienį per Lenkijos parlamento žemųjų rūmų posėdį.

Tarp kalinių, kuriuos Lenkija reikalauja paleisti į laisvę, - žmogaus teisių gynėjas Alesis Beliackis. AP

„Mes raginame ES šalių parlamentus imtis aktyvių veiksmų Baltarusijos pilietinei visuomenei ir demokratizavimo procesui remti, taip pat stiprinti solidarią Europos valstybių poziciją Aleksandro Lukašenkos režimo atžvilgiu”, - sakoma Seimo pareiškime. „Dramatiška visuomeninė ir politinė situacija Baltarusijoje, susiklosčiusi po suklastotų prezidento rinkimų 2010 metų gruodį, reikalauja Europos solidarumo”, - pabrėžė parlamentarai.

Tarp kalinių, kuriuos Lenkija reikalauja paleisti į laisvę, - žmogaus teisių gynėjas Alesis Beliackis, kandidatas į Baltarusijos prezidentus Andrejus Sanikovas, Baltarusijos socialdemokratų partijos pirmininkas Nikolajus Statkevičius ir dar keliolika aktyvistų.

Pasak Lenkijos užsienio reikalų ministro Radoslawo Sikorski, „kai Baltarusija izoliuojasi, represuodama savo piliečius, ES ir Lenkija turi į tai reaguoti”.

Trečiadienį Baltarusijos valdžios prašymu Minską paliko Lenkijos ambasadorius Leszekas Szerepka ir ES atstovė Maira Muora.
