Sinoptiķi ledus iešanu prognozē marta vidū - DELFI.lv

Tuvākajās dienās Latvijas upēs turpināsies ledus kušana, un sinoptiķi prognozē, ka ūdens līmenis upēs straujāk celsies marta sākumā, bet ledus iešana sāksies marta vidū, liecina Latvijas Vides, ģeoloģijas un meteoroloģijas centra dati.

Pašlaik Latvijas upes pārsvarā klāj ledus sega, vietām ledus segā ir lāsmeņi, daudzviet zem ledus vižņi. Straujākajos upju posmos turpinās vižņu iešana. Daugavā pie Krāslavas arī bija vērojama vižņu iešana.

Nedēļas sākumā ledus biezums Daugavā Krievijas-Baltkrievijas teritorijā bija 28-51 centimetrs, posmā no Piedrujas līdz Pļaviņām 28-55 centimetri, Aiviekstes augštecē -45 centimetri, Gaujā - 41-48 centimetri, Lielupē - 31-45 centimetri, Ogres un Ventas lejtecēs - 51 centimetrs.

Tuvākajās dienās Zemgales un Kurzemes upēs gaidāma ūdens līmeņa paaugstināšanās, ceturtdien, pastiprinoties ziemeļrietumu vējam, gaidāma ūdens līmeņu paaugstināšanās Rīgas līcī ietekošo upju lejtecēs.

Sinoptiķi tuvākajās dienās prognozē sniega un ledus kušanu un upju noteces palielināšanos.

Latvijas austrumu un centrālās daļas upēs ūdens līmenis februārī paaugstināsies samērā lēni un pakāpeniski, straujāka līmeņu celšanās iespējama marta pirmās dekādes otrajā pusē, savukārt ledus iešanas sākums iespējams marta vidū, liecina centra informācija.

Rietumu daļas upēs, īpaši Kurzemes un Zemgales dienvidu daļas upēs ledus iešana varētu sākties ātrāk. Jau februāra trešās dekādes vidū gaidāma samērā strauja ūdens līmeņu paaugstināšanās, un marta pirmās dekādes otrajā pusē Kurzemes un Zemgales
upēs gaidāma strauja ūdens līmeņa paaugstināšanās un ledus iešana.

Tā kā ledus upēs ir biezs, ledus iešanas laikā daudzviet iespējama ledus sastrēgumu veidošanās un zemāko palieņu applūšana.
