W geście solidarności pozostałe kraje UE wycofują swoich dyplomatów z Białorusi.

- Przede wszystkim nie trzeba tego widzieć w relacjach bilateralnych. To nie jest kwestia polsko-białoruska, tylko unijno-białoruska - mówiła Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz. - To nie jest reakcja na działanie polskie, ale unijne - podkreślała wiceminister spraw zagranicznych. I uspokajała: Mamy do czynienia z unijno-białoruskimi stosunkami, które rzeczywiście nie układają się najlepiej. - Ale wojna to nie jest - dodała.

Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz tłumaczyła, że reakcja Białorusi jest spowodowana działaniami unijnymi. - UE mówi "chcemy, żeby na Białorusi panowała demokracja, szanowane były prawa człowieka". Jeżeli białoruskie władze idą w tym kierunku, to Unia jest gotowa zaoferować współpracę, pieniądze, rozwój wzajemnych relacji politycznych i ekonomicznych. Ale jeżeli sprawy idą w złym kierunku, to UE wprowadza sankcje - mówiła podsekretarz stanu ds. współpracy rozwojowej i problematyki wschodniej.

Sankcje mają uderzyć w skarbników reżimu, nie obywateli

Gość ]]> TOK FM ]]> podkreślała, że sankcje nie są kierowane przeciwko społeczeństwu, ale przeciwko reżimowi. - To są sankcje skierowane punktowo przeciwko reżimowi. Żeby nie ucierpiał zwykły obywatel, ale ci którzy wspierają reżim, sponsorzy reżimu, skarbnicy nie mogli jeździć do UE, nie mogli swobodnie prowadzić biznesów w Unii - mówiła Pełczyńska-Nałęcz.

Uderzenie w skarbników reżimu boleśniejsze niż uderzenie w polityków

Na liście są przede wszystkim urzędnicy i politycy. - Natomiast intencją UE jest, aby te sankcje zostały rozszerzone także na podmioty ekonomiczne - mówiła wiceminister.

- Skarbnicy reżimu, czyli kto? - pytał Łukasz Grass. - Firmy i osoby fizyczne. Bo ktoś te firmy prowadzi. Nie wymieniałabym listy, dlatego że ona powstaje obecnie w UE i jest przedmiotem dyskusji - odpowiadała podsekretarz stanu w MSZ. Ale zapewniała: W momencie, kiedy takie sankcje zostaną wprowadzone, to będzie wiedza powszechna.

Wiceminister tłumaczyła też na czym będą polegały sankcje. - Taki skarbnik nie będzie mógł wjeżdżać do państw UE i prowadzić tam swojego biznesu. Taka firma będzie miała kłopoty na linii unijnej, a UE jest bardzo ważnym partnerem ekonomicznym Białorusi - mówiła Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz w Poranku TOK FM.
