Michał Szułdrzyński ("Rzeczpospolita"): Nie ma w Unii wystarczającej determinacji. Wiele krajów boi się ostrej konfrontacji, by nie ponieść reperkusji ze strony Rosji.

Ambasador Polski na Białorusi Leszek Szerepka wrócił do kraju po tym, jak władze Białorusi zwróciły się do ambasadorów UE w Mińsku, by udali się na konsultacje do swoich krajów. To reakcja na kolejne sankcje nałożone na białoruski reżim przez UE.

1 marca z ambasadorem spotkał się prezydent Bronisław Komorowski, a kontakty Unii z Białorusią zostaną omówione na szczycie w Brukseli.

Michał Szułdrzyński ("Rzeczpospolita") podkreślił, że dla wielu krajów Unii Białoruś jest problemem Polski. - Dobrze, że w sprawie ambasadorów Unia stanęła solidarnie, ale dotychczas pokazała, że jest nieskuteczna. Poza tym wiele krajów jest w dużej mierze zależnych od Rosji, szczególnie energetycznie - wyjaśnił.

Zofia Wojtkowska ("Newsweek") obawia się, że decyzja o sankcjach wizowych, którymi obłożono 21 sędziów i milicjanta mających związek z procesami sądowymi białoruskich opozycjonistów została podjęta za późno. - Większość tych opozycjonistów jest już skazana i myślę, że cofnięcie im wyroków jest praktycznie niemożliwe - powiedziała i dodała, że drugą wątpliwość stanowi fakt, jak tę sytuację wykorzysta Władimir Putin. Publicystka
obawia się także, że sytuacja odbije się na Polakach. - Polska mniejszość stanie się jednymi z pierwszych ofiar propagandowych, ale nie tylko propagandowych, Łukaszenki - powiedziała.

Publicyści komentowali także protest związkowców przeciw podniesieniu wieku emerytalnego oraz pierwszy mecz na Stadionie Narodowym w Warszawie, w którym Polska zagrała z Portugalią.
